I look for EO to get no more than 7 minutes a game and probably less most of the season. If he was going to see time this season, he would have had to show a lot more last season. He needs at least this year and next summer to develop. With a great deal of luck and a whole lot of hard work he might help us in his Jr. year and maybe break out his Sr. year. If he didn't even star at the Jr. college level at 7 feet, he has a long way to go. Wish I could say more.

I will not let the fact that EO is probably on a program similar to Stutz when he got here, is adapting to it, and may not be as fast as he was last year, but he will be better as time goes on.

I hear people talk about how he is a fouling machine, but he is still getting used to the game. He is a RS Soph, and we have a great coaching staff that will continue to develop him.
I've seen him twice in person, once early last season and once in Hutch. I agree that he will be a defensive weapon and awesome shot blocker and that opponents will often fail to take a shot or fail to make a play just because he is there. He will get his share of rebounds due to his size and athletic ability. I am not certain that he will be the rebounding machine many people believe. What I saw was that he does not position well for rebounding. With coaching, he can certainly improve. However, it seems to me that most rebounders are somewhat naturals. Nobody had to teach Xavier McDaniel to rebound. Nobody had to teach Cliff Levingston how to rebound. Antoine Carr was as big, in fact bigger than either, but was not as good a rebounder. X and Cliff both had that "nose" for the ball and were true "rebounding machines". Like I said, I believe EO will get his share simply because he will be the biggest guy on the court, can jump and is strong. He could even lead the Valley in rebounding when he finally reaches the place where he can play 25 minutes a game. He will never, in my humble opinion, be the rebounder that his size would indicate.

Sure ready for the season to start. :wsu_posters:
