  • NCAA BBall 2010 WSU

I came across this on Youtube... Interesting the way the arena is portrayed... I guess it's round, but not very close at all except for the floor itself. They also give us credit for a LOT more students than we have... (it would be interesting to see an actual exact rendition of our crowd on there.... No, I do love our crowd, but it ain't like the game. Maybe if we start winning more games and make the tourney they'll take more time to get it more accurate...

I can still dream can't I? Haven't looked into it lately, but I've heard 2k isn't opposed to getting back in and have been looking into it. But after the attempted screw job they're not in any hurry to do so either...

And until they do, I'll stick with 2k8 over buying anything EA puts out

EA is discontinuing their college basketball game. Now is the time for 2K to get back in the game.

I'm guessing EA was expecting better sells after 2k got out only to be disappointed because many 2k fans refused to move to and inferior product in EA. EA makes some great games, but college basketball was not one of them. 2k has a great opportunity to get back in now and make a splash. There are a lot of 2k fans (me) waiting for that day to buy and updated college basketball game and I'm guessing there are enough on the EA side that would give in and move to 2k. Everything I've seen still puts 2k8 ahead of anything EA has put out since. That says something.

the EA game is inferior.. 2k had a great product.. im especially disappointed in the "selection show" on the dynasty mode.. also, it hacks me a little that if i am playing the dynasty mode and i coach at a school, then leave at the end of the season for another school, i get credit for the old coach's season record at the new school...

just a total lack of detail. im logging off before i blow my top.

                No question 2K > EA.

EA's was totally garbage and as Sub said that ultimately led to its death. EA bought out 2K only to discontinue the college basketball franchise 2 years later. How freaking pathetic is that?

I hate EA and will never buy another product from them ever again.

FUNNY.....I was recently forced to retire from NCAA 2K7. I coached for 40 seasons on legacy. At the beginning of the last year, the game informs you that it's your swan song and enjoy the goodbye tour. After the last game it gives you a little congrats and that you will always be remembered and it sends you directly to the main menu. No parades, no last look at final achievements, no offers to become an analyst at ESPN. I felt quite jipped. And to think that I was so loyal. Never tried the EA version. I really liked the the 2k games. Hope they make a new one.

Been there brosef! I was like "WTH?"

Pretty much every 2k game > EA. Remember when the NFL game was like $20? They DOMINATED sales that year!

I'll go as far as to say that the 2k games were what really stoked my fire about WSU basketball. My best friend and I played hella NCAA football, but I picked up "ESPN College Hoops" which was a 2k game. The rest is history. I remember lighting him up with Jamar, Hogg and Miller.

I still play NCAA Football 2010 in an online dynasty with a few friends. WSU has dominated the Big 12 and won 10 straight big 12 championships. I can upload a video of cessna stadium later.

EA sports college football was awesome! I remember back in 2003 when the Big 12 shockingly booted Baylor out of the Big 12 to bring in the newly formed Wichita State University Shockers Football program. I believe that I had them not only winning consecutive Big 12 championships, but BCS championships. And if I recall, they had the word 'Wichita' and 'Shockers' loaded into the announcers lexicon, so Brad Nessler and Lee Corso actually said Wichita State Shockers. I thought that was pretty kick ass!
