We definitely need to bring in a big or two in '11. Preferably two. Vint sounds like he'd be a nice one to have for sure.

This is a little off topic, (but so is the current discussion), but there is no doubt that with who we graduating after this year, bigs are a neccesity. However, let's not forget that by the time the class of 2011 arrives, Rags will be a senior and DWill a junior. If you wait another year to get a PG, it will be a senior/freshman, or senior/juco junior, or senior/ juco junior/freshman PG situation. Personally, I would like to see a true freshman PG for 2011 who could play, but more likely redshirt.

Jury is still out on what position Wessel will play. Then I'd go with a couple bigs and then whoever is the next best fit.

Good point. I keep thinking Wessel will be a 3, but he could certainly be that freshman PG or redshirt PG.

Can we keep our threads contained to the topic that they were created for?

Actually, it's not that far off topic. It was brought up about a 2011 recruit Coach Dollar had on the radar for his previous school who was also being recruited by WSU. We know Vint is being looked at by both schools and a poster on the Ark St board mentioned Delph. So the discussion involved a common recruit, and now our new, and in common coach.

Never going to happen. Esp. on a sports board in off-season.

Looks like a solid hire. He also looks to be exactly the type of person HCGM wants both in recruits and staff, someone that really wants to be here.

HCGM was on kgso last evening and talked about the new coach. Very complimentary about him and his father and brother. Father seems to be involved in AAU teams in the east (this is good) and is an outstanding recruiter and family man. HCGM basicly confirmed everything the paper had to say about the man and is an outstanding individual. Said they had alot of quality applicants and the hardest part of the job was saying no to the other applicants.

Happy 4th of July! Today seemed like an early Christmas as I went to introduce myself to my new neighbors and met the Dollar family. Not only was Chad a very nice man but his family as well. You could definatley tell that he was a family man with a very impressive family. While I am no talent evaluator, I believe he will be an asset to WSU.
Spoiler Alert: Bruce Willis was dead the whole time!

The pressure is on. Hope you had a great 4th.
