With UNI handling The Valley the past couple seasons and WSU on a major up-swing, diana didn't have a monopoly over league any more. If he couldn't be the big dog here, why not take a pay raise and go to a weaker conference? Get out while the gettin's good.
That rug really tied the room together.

                LOL Hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

Now watch him get to Eugene and turn back!

This is classic! Altman knows his ship is sinking at sCUm and is getting out before it's too late.

Finally, the fall of the sCUm! Ahahahahahaha.

I was looking forward to HCGM kicking is butt 10 times in a row. It was going to happen PDQ. Sorry to see him go.

I won't have the same disdain for Creighton. They are going to suck big time for the next couple of years and it won't be as enjoyable.

Dana is one lucky SOB. He got out when he could. The MVC is better off with Omaha having a solid program. Hope they don't become a subprime tenant in that building.

Love the way ******* started his article:

"Oregon is on the verge of finally getting its guy."

                    Then:

"The Ducks have struck out with big names such as Gonzaga’s Mark Few, Pittsburgh’s Jamie Dixon, Butler’s Brad Stevens and Missouri’s Mike Anderson since parting ways with Ernie Kent last month. The search is now 37 days old."

How in the world can you say Oregon's getting THEIR GUY!

A little surprised ESPN hasn't said anything yet.

I guess he just couldn't pass on the chance to be their 30th choice as head coach.

                        --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                        From the OWH:

Creighton men's basketball coach Dana Altman, who briefly left for Arkansas before returning to Creighton in 2007, has been offered the Oregon job, a source close to the situation told The World-Herald.

Altman asked for 24 hours to think over the offer, the source said. If he accepts, the deal would send the longtime Creighton coach back into a power conference with the Pac-10, and send CU looking for a new leader

Multiple media outlets in the state of Oregon were reporting Saturday afternoon that Altman had accepted the job.

A definite no on that. They do have Greg Echenique, a transfer enrolled in Spring classes. He would be a good get, but would probably have to sit another year if he decides to bolt.

                            Suck it, Creighton fans.

You relished in our '06-'07 season, then Turgeon's subsequent departure, and now you are now seeing karma's big d**** fast approaching.

Suck it hard. Suck it good. Suck it long. Suck it til the wheels fall off.

                            Suck it.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

I'm all about Creighton sucking, but this isn't good for the Valley. We are better off with CU good and us better.
