? I'm confused, who is this freshman you are referring to? Richardson or Hamilton? They're both redshirt freshmen.
I know they are redshirts but they're still freshmen and have a lot of experience playing in front of them. I hope they prove me wrong and have breakout years though.

      Williams - 20
      Murry - 27
      Hatch - 25
      Durley - 25
      Stutz - 22

      Rags - 20
      Kyles - 12
      Smith - 16
      Blair - 17
      Ellis - 5
      Ehimen - 11

Hamilton gets another year of development and some spot minutes along with Richardson. Both will be needed the following year.

I would be thrilled to see EO with 10 minutes a game next year. I think that would mean he progressed a lot between his Fr and So years.

Either that or WSU can afford the luxury of playing 4 on 5 on the offensive end, with the CENTER being the missing piece.

Either situation is a bit more than I'm expecting.

I also think everyone is selling Ellis a bit short. I know he had a bad year last year, and the year before, and... he's still got some D in him and he's shown flashes. I give him a bit more credit than most give him going into his Sr year.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

There is another reason EO might get double-digit minutes, and it isn't good. ie. Durley or Stutz getting injured.

I know that this roster may look good for the next year and even the year after, but as of right now, we have no true freshman for next year. After these two years, we will be a very inexperienced team

In this context, what is the difference between a true freshman and redshirt freshman? (Richardson and Hamilton)

Next year, yes. The year after, a true freshman.

The difference is the RSFr has had not only a year practicing with the team and the Fr has had only perhaps a summer and pre-season., but also an additional year of maturing in age and the weightroom.

"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Ahhh, so having redshirt freshmen is actually better than having true freshman, all other things being equal?

I think I'm starting to understand this college basketball game.
