"I have decided to leave Wichita State for personal reasons in order to get back closer to home," Manigault said. "It was fun playing for Coach Marshall and Wichita State. I'll really miss the atmosphere and the support of the fans. I'll miss the team, too, and I wish them the best in the upcoming year."
Would've liked to see Coach Grant get the Citadel job and take Kenny with him.

I would guess many of the Clemson players had met Coach Grant during their recruitment.

I don't think you can really blame either of them for leaving. I'm definitely sad to see both of them go.

If Earl Grant is leaving does this mean we have an opening to offer Mr. Ellis a job coaching at WSU? I mean it seemed to have worked out pretty well for Mr. Manning that just happened to have a son that could play a little bit of ball.

That sucks that Kenny is leaving, but Ben Smith looks like a good replacement if true. I don't like that we're signing three JUCO's, but at least one of them is a sophomore and we have two RS freshman.

Earl Grant is a good man. Best of luck to him. My next thought is how much will this affect our SC pipeline for recruits. Damn. We'll just have to hire somebody better.

I would think Matt Braeuer might get the opening over him, but you never know.

Somewhat surprising about Coach Grant. I've always respected him and wish him the very best. I hope we can meet his team in the Big Dance one day!

Kenny--well, I'm not surprised, but a bit disappointed. In the right program with the right coaching he could be a special player. I hope he finds success--wherever he ends up.

It's sad to say goodbye to both of them. Good luck to them. :(
Some posters already predicted KJ's departure awhile ago.

I wonder if Kenny will follow Grant to Clemson? That is where his highly recruited HS teammate is playing.
