IMO, its alot different, saying "I want Perry Ellis to come to Wichita State", which is stating our opinion, than saying "Perry Ellis please come to Wichita State", which in a sense is begging him to come.

No I don't, but it has been stated repeatedly in the recruiting subforum that he has said he wants to play for a bigger school and program than ours.

BTW, I noticed he did not make any of the 4 teams for best High School players in the country in Parade magazine from the Wichita Eagle.

I agree, to some extent, newshock1234. However our opinions aren't likely to matter much in this situation. The only opinion that does matter is that of the Blue Disk, and they have made THEIR opinion abundantly clear here.

And the tune of rational thought that some follow here is usually lost on its way to Indianapolis.

For the same reason that Antoine Carr came to WSU.

He will be a much bigger deal and star at WSU then he would at some BCS school in some other city where they have a roster full of All-Americans. If he goes to a place like that he is just another player while he's there and will be mostly forgotten after his 2 or 3 years of playing there.

If he goes to WSU he will be a big hometown hero during his playing time and a Shocker legend for eternity. :wsu_posters:

The top 5 are all seniors. I wasn't able to find class lists for the rest. I doubt that there are many sophomores on the team.

LOL! You Sunshiners still keep hope alive. I will give you that. If PE comes to WSU, I will ban myself for 1 year from Shockernet. If he does and doesn't go pro after his first year, I will ban myself permanently.
