Disclaimer: Everyone KNOWS I am not about to be an apologist for KU.
Cole doesn't get to wear that one. Nobody should blame Cole for that....the kid is an Academic All America.
He handled himself nicely in front of a TOTAL DOUCHEBAG of a reporter, if that's what you want to call him. How f-ing stupid can you be???
This is the kind of dimwit KU is turning out of their so called vaunted Journalism program. Not only that, someone decided it was a good idea to post the video. Stupidity at its finest.
What an idiot. Which reminds me, what ever happened to that mensa member who called for Gregg's job in the Sunflower?

Exactly...that was my point...not Cole's fault, he wasn't asking the questions, just trying to answer them.

Cole? While some will question due to his choice to go to Kansas, is a class act. I have met him on two occasions and both times he impressed me immensely.
To that regard I have also met Coach Self and came away impressed even though I mentioned I was a staunch WSU fan.
LOL. You think because UNI beat KU it somehow validates WSU. The unathletic chuck the 3 offense works one out of 10 times. UNI is going to get raped whoever they play next. You pretend not to be obsessed with KU but there is a 20 page thread about them.
Wow bitter arent we? I think the game should be played before determining the outcome! Now go back to the KU board and cry and rationalize with wack job portion of the Kansas fans. :posterwu: 8)
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- every year since 1998.
The Morris twins were crying into towels. So were Tyshawn Taylor and Xavier Henry. Brady Morningstar was bawling loudly, completely broken by this loss. It was a shocking sight for two reasons.
One, like I said, I've never seen a locker room this distraught.

wah  take your crying ass back to Lawrence and watch the rest of the tournament at home.
Loved some of the responses (or responses to a response) to the article.
A responder critized the article as cruel to the KU kids. Here's the responses to that:
"I'm going to insult the young kids that play for Kansas. Lift the @#%*ing towels off your primadonna heads and line up at the midcourt sidelines and shake hands. At least Self congratulated N Iowa. My middle school team knows that no matter what happens they line up and shake hands. The KU youngsters showed a lack of character in allowing this upset and they showed lack of character in properly congratulating the victors. Sharon Collins could have shown some leadership here. This wasn't even a "buzzer-beater". They had gotten soundly beaten like a rag doll for 35 minutes and they were unable to completely pull off the comeback. We've all been there. You're less than inspired, underpublicized game (I had to watch it online), playing a quirky team that can shoot, and before you know it, it's too late to turn the effort spicket back on.
Don't act like pros, act like responsible, respectful youngsters and congratulate the team that beat you. Not only is it the right thing to do regarding N Iowa, you're better for it. KU players looked like fools. That grad asst or asst coach looked stupid trying to console that a..hole crying on the floor. I would have told him strongly to get your a.. up and shake hands."
Another: "Give me a break, kids? Are you serious? These are young men. The last time I checked, once you turn 18 in this country you are a grown adult who makes grown adult decisions. Don't give me this "they are just kids" garbage. Suck it up and take the loss like a man. You are right that it's immiture to make fun of people when they cry, they are called emotions, but these men want to be treated like pros since that is where they want to be so take the good and you take the bad - The Facts of Life! :}"
To be fair, we shouldn't say all KU fans are like the NightWatchmen. Beatmu comes on our board and is a classy guy. Even on their board he doesn't hesitate to give us props. There are bad apples in every fanbase.
