A deep run by an MVC team does nothing but benefit us for next year. The fact that we will be the favorite in a conference that sent a team to the sweet sixteen, elite eight, or (gasp) Final Four is tremendous pub. Here's to hoping the Panthers continue the run.

I think they match up EXTREMELY well with Maryland and would shut up Greivis with a double digit win. Michigan State would be much more difficult. Go Panthers!

i was thinking the same thing. UNI would take maryland out of their style of play. i would bet on UNI over maryland.
MSU.... they are a solid rebounding team. as is UNI, but... overall, theis would be a tough challenge. tough matchup.

UNI really needs to keep shooting 70% from 3 to have a chance. Looks like they'll do it. KU isn't going to win this. I've seen this KU team. This is the team that loses in the 2nd round and gets upset.

I'm just watching the game. I'm the unbiased poster on here that doesn't have a vendetta against KU and that thinks everyone is out to get the mid-major. UNI doesn't need any help from anyone. This was a bad match-up for KU and people who know the Valley understood this.

So you're a WSU fan who doesn't support the Valley teams in the NCAA's?

Does it really matter who I root for? I'm not coming here saying, "KU is the best, MVC Sucks". I'm just watching the game and commenting. I don't need to "root" for a mid-major school to justify being a fan of another.

UNI made the Valley some bread tonight. UNI played defense, made hard shots, hustled for rebounds, stretched KU out on offense, made their throws, kept their turnovers to a mild roar, and played THEIR game. A #9 team teaches #1 seed what it means to face the Valley of Death? What is the deal? The Big East is now only 4-5 thus far in this Dance? That is why they play the game and why they call it March Madness!!!!!!!
