    Auburn fired Jeff Lebo ... Marshall unofficially mentioned as a possible candidate.

    I imagine he'll be in the conversation for every opening south of the Mason Dixon line from here on out.

    Wow, Auburn really? :roll:

    Marshall has already stated he doesn't want to rebuild again. Auburn definitely falls under that category.

      Didn't we already have a thread on here about Auburn "contacting" Marshall already?

      I thought I had heard this before today.

      Anyway, I've already decided I'm not going to get myself worked up over rumors. It may or may not be true. And someday he will most likely leave. Regardless it's out of my control and I have a lot of other things I can concern myself with.

      Now, we'll just see how long I can actually KEEP that mindset LOL. GO SHOX!

                        Wouldn't the Auburn job be about the equivalent of Colorado or Nebraska in the B12 - or Evansville in the Valley?

                        Jeff Bzdelik was a hot coach when he was at Air Force.

                          Anyone who thinks that article indicates the slightest interest on Marshall's part in Auburn, a bad job that would be a step down from WSU, is suffering from paranoia even worse than we usually have to put with around here.

                            The rumor I hear is that HCGM has bought a cloning machine and is going to take 3 or 4 head coaching jobs. I heard this from very good sources.
