Official NCAA coaching changes thread

This has nothing to do with Marshall or WSU. Just that it's that time of year and there's always some interesting moves.

So far . . .

- Bobby Lutz is out at Charlotte.
- Todd Lickliter may be out at Iowa after an 8-minute meeting with the AD this morning.
- Corliss Williamson is expected to be hired at Central Arkansas.

I'm not saying that they should keep him but Lickliter had a very difficult year. Loss of players, health concerns. Maybe could have done better recruiting. Perhaps Butler level players don't work in the Big Tenleven? He never really had a chance to build his style of team.

I'm kinda surprised at Lutz being out, but Charlotte has been mediocre for a long time. I could see them pulling a good coach, but Lutz built that program.

Not to state the obvious (which I'm about to do anyway), Charlotte is a lot closer to home for Marshall. Not trying to start anything, just pointing out ----

Before anyone jumps on my case, Charlotte is LESS than a lateral move for Marshall and the pay sucks. I can't see him giving up what he has here -- at least not yet -- and certainly not for Charlotte (unless they can come up with some pretty BIG bucks).

The KSU Kittens should be concerned about their Dalonte Hill pipeline, if he's in on this one.

I suspect that Hill was a large part of the reason for the success Charlotte used to have on the court and in recruiting, and that their decline and his move to KSU were more than coincidentally related.
