The Virginia Tech coach on the radio today mentioned Wichita State as one of the really good teams in the NIT this year (he also mentioned Illinois, Mississippi State, Dayton and URI).

A tough game to predict. If the Shockers are at the top of their game, they should win, but anything less, will probably be a loss.

Just found out that if you didn't reserve your tickets by last thursday, you can't get your regular season tickets for the Neveda game, and all that are left are the mountain top seats.

It looks like I won't be going to the game. Are they going to put this game on TV before Wenesday?

I ordered online just before 7:30 this morning and got five seats in section 112, row 13.

If all that's left are in the upper few rows, sounds like we're nearing a sellout.

Ticket sales are brisk... around 3,000 remain IIUC.

New Shockwaves is up.

David Kyles, out with a broken right hand since Feb. 22, needs at least another week to put himself back in the mix, at best. Kyles would be a maybe if WSU advanced to the third round of the NIT, March 23-24.

The boys making it to the Championship Game on Sunday has helped out ticket sales, I would imagine! I'll be there as always!

I don't know if making it to the championship game has helped ticket sales that much. I would like to think that its just Wichita supporting their Shockers. We filled 'er up the last nit and we didn't make it to the championship game that year. :clap:

Yeah, but that game was against a mighty ACC team, too! I dunno... I just think had we had a poor performance in St. Louis and still had been given a chance to host, the turnout wouldn't have been as great! Never the less, great news for the Shocks!!

Tough call on the score. I really have no idea. I think we go 18-0 at home for the season though. I suspect at this point there are no easy games. NIT or NCAA, all teams involved can play some serious ball and we're going to have to work hard to come out on top.
