Agreed. I don't understand it either. Their RPI was 75! 75!! They didn't win 20 games in the average Big 10! They shouldn't even be in the conversation for getting in.

And they were 11-14 agaisnt the rpi top 200. A 44% winning percentage against the top 200! NO WAY ILLINOIS should have been in.

Mid-majors that did get in all got screwed since they seeded most of them against each other. Just goes to show that they don't want mid-majors getting to far and beating BCS teams.

But the flip side is that BCS schools are knocking each other out allowing for a few mids to further.
