Only issue I have is Minnesota being in. I'd have put Mississippi State in ahead of them for their wins over Florida and Vandy (both tourney teams) in the conf tourney, and playing the potential national champs to a one point game.

Gophers got smoked (eventually) by Ohio State, and won over a Purdue team missing its best player and got hammered consistently in Big 10 Regular Season play.

Mid-majors that did get in all got screwed since they seeded most of them against each other. Just goes to show that they don't want mid-majors getting to far and beating BCS teams.

But the flip side is that BCS schools are knocking each other out allowing for a few mids to further.

Another stupid comment when showing the 8 non-power bids . . . "good move by the committee". I'm so tired of the talking morons projecting their ignorance on the committee. Somehow I don't believe that the committee made a conscious decision to include more of any "class" of school or conference.

At any rate, glad to see the number of non-power conference at-large selections double over last year, thanks to the A10 and WAC.

FWIW, It appears that Rhode Island is the only team with a better RPI than WSU that didn't get in. Have to imagine that despite the talking heads, and based on what Guerrero (chairman) said to CBS, that we were one of those on "two hands" that were being considered.

Also, based on what Guerrero said, we are probably out for our non-conf SOS, coupled with the 'bad losses'. Would figure our record v. Top 100 would have at least had us in the discussion.

- Also, I'm watching Dick Vitale rant how Virginia Tech should have gotten in over Wake Forest. Apparently, he doesn't notice that VTs Non-Con RPI was 339 and that they've beaten nobody all season..... he's easily the only person on the ESPN telecast that thinks they should have gotten in ahead of GT. Bottom line for the Shox this year: @ Evansville, @ Drake, and @ CU; win 2 of those three and we're probably in. Bad losses killed teams this year. Good news is the schedule looks to be much improved next season.
