Jeff Lebo is out at Auburn. "Sources say Auburn has already reached out to him (HCGM)."

I guess we will see if MTXE is really Cold. Let me add I don't not think Marshall is going anywhere. Just reporting what I read about the Shockers.

I'm just going to make one comment on this and then I'm done. Please don't read anything into what I may or may not say on any other site.

This is going to happen as long as Gregg coaches at WSU. Anyone that didn't think it was inevitable was fooling themselves. It has happened, it is happening and it will happen in the future.

If and when the rumors come to fruition, we won't know until it's over. Gregg has stated he won't talk about it, and he won't. If it happens, it happens and the program is bigger than the coach.

The Marshall's love Wichita, they are happy here and they absolutely bleed black and gold. Will it keep them here forever? In all likelihood, no. But if and when it happens, you can be sure that he will leave the program in better shape than he found it. We have postseason to focus on, and that's all we need to worry about.

All over the Kansas City stations was Mike Anderson and how he is the top candidate and they all thought would leave Missouri for this job. Not sure what they know or don't know, but that is what the talk was yesterday.

Well put Doc. Nothing more to say about this in my opinion.

IMO opinion the biggest thing WSU community can do is give Marshall full support to the program and for the community to just love on the Marshall family and hope his roots grow deeper in the community and he continues to build a juggernaut program where he doesn't want to leave to go rebuild another program.

Marshall is smart guy, just because a program is in the BCS conference doesn't make it big time and a great place to go to for basketball. And I'm sure he realizes that the grass is not always greener.

Marshall is gonna leave at some point. It's just the way it is. The only real concern I have is when it does happen I don't feel confident that Sexton is the man to find the coach who will keep the ship floating. That's my only worry.

You base that worry on what?

Well the fact that he had no experience when he got the job. Surely he isn't as qualified to judge talent or find the next good coach as Schaus was. I'm also betting he doesn't have the respect or connections that Schaus had either.

Just a feeling. I like Sexton ok as a person. Just never agreed with his hiring. Just hope my feelings are wrong, and they very well may be.

I do know I'm not alone. Seems to be a pretty popular concern from alot of fans I have spoken with.

Yeah...so? No one has facts to support either argument. Everyone just has a feeling.

Give me any FACTS as to why I shouldn't feel this way? What great hires has he made at Wichita St or any other school? What other athletic departments has he successfully ran? His lack of experience is the concern...that is a FACT.

Perhaps he goes on to become the greatest AD in Shocker history. There is just no reason to feel that way at this point.

Having a coach others look @ as a candidate is like having a good lookin' wife. Its better someone checj her out once in a while than thinks she is ugly. Don't want a wife who doesn't want to be here, especially if I'm doing my best. And if my wife thinks she can do so much better elsewhere, so be it I guess. She just might realize its good where she is or she might be able to make it better. If she does leave she might realize she wants to come back when its too late.
