What a moronic thing to say. Do you know Sherron personally? Were you there? Did you hear what the A & M players were throwing back? Of course not. You shouldn't stereotype.

I agree with 85. There was plenty of give and take. A & M and Turg got frustrated when they pulled an 8 minute version of the Shocker dry spell in the second half. It was a great game until then. The best team won and the best team will win again tonight.

And I'm still hoping for an at large for the Shox!

Well Fredster maybe you think Sherron's whipping out his bratwurst on an elevator at Jayhawk towers to harass a lady is an honorable act as well. That tells me a little bit about him. I think.

Who wouldn't have liked to see Turgeon display some of that passion when he coached at WSU?

Some players can push that to the limit without getting T'ed up or tossed. Collins is a master at it and one of the toughest players in the country.

Actually Turgeon did pretty much the same thing while at WSU. Can't remember which game it was in Koch Arena. But if memory serves our player got fouled hard or something? There appeared it could escalate into a fight pretty fast and Turgeon went running out to the floor and shoved the opposing player while pulling his own player back. Meanwhile he was being pretty verbal. I thnk it may have been Matty B...someone else may have a better memory of the incident though. It was nothing more than Turgeon protecting his player.
You might be thinking of the Houston game in the NIT. Turg got into the middle of it. The Houston player threw a punch at Kyle Wilson and hit the referee on the top of the head.

Yeah I kind of think there has to be some criminal activity involved (see P'Allen) and/or thug needs to have some enforcer type hockey violence in the collection of the family's debts....kapisch?. and exposing yourself in an elevator just kind of makes you a pervert. A very bad pervert though.

I think MT did exactly what any fan would want of their coach...KU is just a little pissy sometimes. It kind of makes me realize what I dislike about KU its not their basketball team ..its their douchebag fans

MT did NOTHING out of line. Hell, if Frank Martin can get national TV announcers glossing his grimacing face, tantrums, choice of words, etc, and laugh at it, MT looks like the Pope.

Turg did nothing wrong, just defending his players. BB gets a little testy sometimes, especially in playoff games or the Big Dance.

Yeah, Sherron gets a little in your face sometimes, but he is one heck of a player.

I knew that ATM could not go the whole game with the Hawks. KU has too deep a bench, and too many talented players. ATM did play good up until the run by KU though. Sloan is a very good player, and Middleton is pretty good himself.

Turgeon just has not completely learned how to close out a game yet. A problem he had when he was here, and still plagues him.

I'm pretty sure in the context it's used around here, Black.

Uhhh no....Lucas O'Rear is as white as my bare ass and I would consider him a thug.

Coach Turgeon is not short of passion. That is for sure.

Some KU fans were overly defensive in the initial reactions; Turgeon gave Sherron a big hug after the game

Most KU fans saw it for what it really was, a coach standing up for his players in a hotly contested game and contentious atmosphere.

Collins can't wait to get Turg alone in an elevator.

                              Hahaha. Now that's funny!

I guess I don't care to root on KU in the dance (assuming we don't get in), BECAUSE of Sherron. He's really annoying lately.

Turg should just call the KU football team to take care of Sherron for him.
