After listiening to HCGM talk about next year, why do I get the feeling we will have two scholarships to fill for next year (in addition to EO)?

There is still a chance to make the dance, but three things have to happen.
1) All the bubble teams lose.
2) There aren't any upsets in any of the league tournaments.
3) The selection committee overlooks our loss at Evansville.

he said he didnt know what may go on that maybe someone might be unhappy with their role etc etc.

I know its the coach talking and he's more in the know then anyone. But automatically that means people are leaving for some people.

Got the same feeling, but I don't want to deal in speculation. Overall he was optimistic, and if he does have two scholarships, I got the feeling he already knows what he will do with them.

But again, I don't want to speculate and hopefully no one else will; at least not today.

Nothing really. He just said we have another 7 footer and a scholarship to fill next year, and who knows, maybe we will have more than one if someone decides they aren't happy with their situation. It was a positive tone about the future, but it was a bit surprising...

He was saying it talking about his interviews yesterday when he had two sophomores and a freshman sitting next to him and he realized how much we have done with such a young team and a bright future ahead of us.

Yes that's right. Nothing new there. HCGM brought up the possibility of having an open 'ship in addition to that one. Again it was only brought up as a possibility, but I'm sure it is a possibility they are game planning for just in case it happens.
