Prediction: WSU vs. UNI

It's game day folks. 1pm can't get here soon enough. Again, it's our time. UNI is a very, very good team, but we can be better.

Not that they need it today, but maybe Cliff will pay a visit to the locker room before the game and give them a pep talk.

This is going to be one of the best days to be a Shocker in many years. Can't wait!

Now we all know that ESPN doesn't cut away from the end of one game to go to another no matter what. It could be a 30 point blow out with teams in your local area coming on next, and it won't get switched. However, it seems like a week or so ago I was tuning into a Saturday CBS game involving KU, and they did switch over to the local game, even though the previous game wasn't over. I have a feeling the UK/Florida game will go way over, and I hope to God they are able to switch over locally. Somebody call CBS and find out.

I chalk this game up to the battle of past vs. future of the MVC.

UNI--as good as they are, represent the past. Many if not most of their best players will be gone regardless of what happens in about a month. This is not a slam on their team, just the truth.

WSU--the team of the future.

It's time for the future to take root in the present!
