So if one left by 5am they might make it in time for the game
Don't let the fear of striking out - keep you from playing the game!

You would have a shot to get there. Traffic in KC or St. Louis could affect things, as would the number of stops made, but in theory it is doable.

Traffic won't be a problem on a Sunday. Taking the minimum amount of stops and cruising at around 75 will get you there in time.

        ... No really, deuces.

Google is full of crap. I can make it from Wichita in 6 or a tad more.

Yes right at 400 miles. Left salina at 645am parked at STC at 115pm. 75mph,3 stops, one 15 mile traffic jam on 70 going into Columbia from a bad wreck...it was on the west bound side thank goodness. Must of been something going on in Columbia not sure what though.....lol. people were just over there walking arund, walking the dog, actual eating lunch...that would of sucked.

I took 70 and got off at 170 south to 64? East, and got off at 14th st. Very easy and avoided traffic. Drive safe Go Shocks!!

"dont talk to me about fouls....Ive got to go back and look at some tape... I have some thoughts but I need to look at the tape and then I will have something very strong to say"

If the Valley tournament was in KC, can you imagine how many of us would be on the turnpike right now? While STL is a GREAT host for the tournament, I wish it was closer.

Definately glad I made the trip. Gonna get in pretty late tonight and have to work early in the morning. Oh well, it's worth it! :)

The pep-rallies have been fun. Pretty crowded and Marshall has spoke of course. Yesterday the govenor spoke as he is a WSU alum and big fan. He had a pretty funny story yesterday. He said that he was living out of town during the Battle of New Orleans and wasn't able to watch or listen to it where he was at. He had a friend hold a phone up to the radio so he could listen to the broadcast. All of the sudden the phone went dead right before the end of the game so he wasn't able to hear the final outcome. I guess his friend....was a KU fan LOL. Obivously we know why he would have hung up the phone ;).

Anyway, pretty fun time as usual.

He also has a graduate degree from KU. So where does his allegiance lie?

We the Shocker Nation everywhere will synthesize our cheers with the colossal Shocker fans 'at the Lou' and together it will sound like 21st and Hillside in black and gold harmony. Look for Hatch to be back (Hatchback) with that smooth J., for our Inside first along with our Outside game to mesh together like fine silk, #3 to continue to take us as far as he possibly can this Season, before handing the Shocker baton to rise even higher results in the future, for #23 and #5 to 'shake and bake' like poetry in motion, for Stonewall Stutz, JT, The Gabe, and AE to clean the glass like windex on a bright and sunny Sunday, and each and every Shocker to leave it ALL on the floor in quest for the diggin and claiming of the dancin groovy gold like a team of destiny. The Shocks will today ALL have "The Eye Of The Tiger." Can u dig it? Groovy!!!!!!!
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

Well obviously for NOW it's with WSU LOL. I'm sure it depends on which group of fans he's talking to....
