You do know both teams wore the MTXE on their uni's. Believe Smithson brought it to WSU after his stint at ISU.

But I could see the game shaking out this way.

If everyone plays as well as they did last night, and TM steps up his offense, we can beat the birds by 15 or more. It will also help if we don't have that foul smelling midget ref on our crew. The ISU-ISU game was one of the best officiated games I've seen in a long time. I don't want to stand through another 5 on 8 game as we did last night.

I wouldn't call last nights game 5 on 8. Maybe earlier it was leaning on the MSU side, but the refs were letting us go for blocks without us getting foul calls, and the "foul" on GS three-point play was questionable at best. Then we got 2 intentional fouls back to back.

At the end of the game, the refs certainly weren't against us.

I believe in the Shox, we can win this game, we can win Sunday.

Overall I thought the refs were pretty good. I remember screaming only about 4-5 times, that's down from the more usual 15-20 times.

The refs also let the bears go for blocks without them being called for fouls.

I didn't see the foul on Stutz's layin, but the defender acted as if he knew he did it and the ref had a much better angle than the camera.

The second of those intentional fouls occurred because the refs wouldn't call the foul when it first occurred ( that non-call also favored the Shocks, but not as much as the final result) , so the bear had no choice but to hold on--by that time it was clearly intentional.
