I was watching the MVC Live Blogger and pre game he said the 4 media people there said WSU BY 13 points....I told him to tell them to lay off the budwieser and to take a cab back to the hotel

Gotta respect MSU. I think they'll figure in the mix for a while now, along with us.

I like their coach and I like their players. They are going to be a real thorn in our side for the next several seasons at least!

Congrats on the win guys. Just watched it on TV. Very good game by both teams but you guys got it done. Very impressed by the amount of Shox fans in the Scottrade...half that place was yellow & black. You guys travel extremely well.

Up next are my Redbirds in a tough game vs. Indy St. Hoping we win obviously, as that sets up a classic fight vs. you guys. As I said awhile ago on here: I do, and yet do not want a Redbird/Shocker matchup in the semis ;-) No matter what, best of luck to both our teams. I unfortunately won't be able to see any of the semi games tomorrow due to a recent work commitment, so I'll be extra upset if in fact we do win tonight and get to face you guys tomorrow.

Again, good job on the win tonight. If our teams play tomorrow, then I must root for my Redbirds obviously. But if we fall tonight, or if we win and get to play you guys and you beat us tomorrow, then add me as a huge Shocker fan the rest of the tourney & postseason.

Clevin, your the man. Very tough minded, smart basketball player. Loved the drive and dish to Garrett for the and 1. The play of the game for me.

Some nice contributions from a number of guys down the stretch but to me Clevin put us on his shoulders and willed us to this win.

Have to be pleased with the play of Stutz and D-Will.

JT had his ups and downs but one of his biggest ups was his block on Leonard late in the game.

Toure had a big 3 and a real nice drive to the basket on an inbounds play.

Superb free throw shooting (24-25 for 96%).

Missouri State is just a tough out. They play hard and they don't back down.

This was a very nice win for the Shocks and will probably do more for us tomorrow than an easy win would.
