  • OKC watch party / Where to watch in OKC

I am going to be in OKC Friday for a concert and need to find a way to watch the game. Anyone familiar with the area or the cable stations?

I know I here about KC watch parties but haven't from Oklahoma.

We are staying right by the Ford Center so anywhere in walking distance would be great.

    Thanks

There is a sports bar (can't remember the name of it!), but it is right next to Abuelo's in Bricktown. I was there earlier this year and asked if they could put the Shocker game on...and they were more than happy to. Food was good too.

Google Maps is showing a Daquiri Zone Sports Grill next to Abuelos in Bricktown. 27 E Sheridan. Walking route from Ford Center to there is .3 miles, not too bad, weather permitting.

      27 E Sheridan AveOklahoma City, OK 73104

      1. Head west on W Sheridan Ave toward S E K Gaylord Blvd 0.1 mi
      2. Turn left at S E K Gaylord Blvd 0.2 mi
      3. Turn right at W Reno Ave
Destination will be on the left 449 ft

      Ford Center
      100 West Reno Avenue

That place is closed. It is called something else now, but the same vicinity.

I did some googling last night and made some calls. They said they would put it on for me at Brix:

          Brix Restaurant & Sport Lounge
          27 East Sheridan Avenue
          Oklahoma City, OK 73104-2424

also .3 miles from the Ford Center

I was hoping I might find a group of Shockers to watch the game with before the concert. But I am sure all of the REAL fans are in St. Louis.

          Thanks

Google Maps is WRONG? Is there someone I should call about this? Glad I wasn't planning my vacation around the accuracy of those maps.
