Road to the NCAA Tournament

Who are the three teams you would love to play this weekend in route to a MVC championship? Personally, my preference would be Evansville, Indiana State and Bradley. This is not what I think is going to happen. but rather, what I would like to happen.

Evansville - because of their lack of star power in comparison to Weems and MSU.
Indiana State - because they don't match up well against our atheletes and while Marshall is very good he isn't as good as OE.
Bradley - because they are weak inside and we would exploit that in a championship with two tired team.

Who would you prefer to play and why?

I'm torn on Creighton. On one hand, yes, I would love to see that happen. But the upside for me is way less than the downside. Losing to CU again would make me sick.

I agree 100%. Who cares who we play? We should be able to beat any team in the league if we want to be more than just a 'one and done' in the NCAA tourney. If we're meant to make it to the big dance I would like us to win a game or more there. If we can't beat the Valley teams--any Valley team then we don't deserve to make the dance.

With that said, I think we WILL deserve to by the time we get to Sunday, but we have the horses to beat any team in the league we come up against, and I'm betting we'll show that on 3 occasions this weekend.

I really dont care either.. got to win them either.. dont know how this is even possible being they are the last place team but i think i would rather see msu than the ville.. ville just gives us fits and i dont feel comfortable playing them!
