  • Schaus a possible candidate for WVU AD position

Stay up to date with all the West Virginia Mountaineers sports news, recruiting, transfers, and more at 247Sports.com
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

Would seem a natural fit. Schaus/Huggy is an interesting combo.

I wonder how that would work out?

They were at Cincinnatti together. Schaus was associate AD (basketball was supposedly under his wing) and Huggins was Huggins. They went on some kind of probation or were cited for lack of control while they were there.

Schaus always spoke highly of Huggins. He would also say that he recruited on the edge.

And then, after some time at WVU, he can move to Lawrence and take over for Perkins.

Why would he want to take a step down by moving to KU?
Let's hope he can hit a D-1 Curve ball!
