What is up with everyone on VT picking either MSU or ISU to beat us? You would think we we're the 7 seed or something.

If we play like we did on Saturday + Gabe Blair we will be hard to beat.

Probably basing on how we finished up in the month of February. I can't blame em.

Let's hope our team realizes that they are being disrespected and comes out with something to prove.

Our late-season performance combined with two factors - tough to beat a team 3 times (MSU), and ILSU winning six of their last seven - I can see where the sentiment comes from. Heck, ILSU is my sleeper pick to win the tournament.

And don't forget that it's VT. WSU isn't very well liked among those fans.

I dont know if this has been mentioned before...but HCGM was pretty successful in post season tournaments when he had a decent team at Winthrop....How many confrence tourneys did they win..like 7 conference tournaments in 9 years.......what Im saying is I think when he has a competitive team that he has been pretty good at getting them to focus end of year in a conf. tournament setting....I guess my concern is the lack of focus toward the end of the year..but lets hope thats all over with.....
