Good to see CH on the 1st team. What jumps out at me is the conference champ only gets Eglesbedder on the second team and no Koch.

For all the bitches and moaners that posted here during the UNI game on the road,

"Best Game of the Year – Northern Iowa defeats Wichita State 59-56 on February 3 in Cedar Falls – Both teams played well, and the game was close the entire way. UNI jumped out to an eight point lead with 3:20 left, but WSU clawed back and had several chances to tie the game or take the lead in the final minute. A classic by the league's two best teams… and possibly a preview of the MVC Tournament Final."

HCGM COY is awesome recognition also.
"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Nice work, but Koch is a no doubter 1st team guy and probable MVP, although I'm not sure Odiakosa shouldn't get it. It would be a toss up for me between those 2.

Gregg won't get credit for the job he's done this year....really in the last 2 years bringing this program back from disaster so quickly.

When does the MVC annouce their teams?

This won't be the last time I say this...but can we finally STOP talking as if transfers are going to change this league?

          Tony Freeman.

          That is all.

Yeah I agree about the transfers. Every once in a while you get a good one like Kyle Wilson and Champ Oguchi. More often than not, however, they end up being just pretty average to even below average.
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

Adam Koch is in for 1st team and either Lawson or Brown are out altogether. I don't see only one player from both UNI and WSU (1st and 2nd place teams) getting 1st/2nd team recognition.

The Creighton fanbase has been very unhappy with Kenny Lawson's defense this year. Sure he has good shot-blocking numbers, but he has let a lot of guys score at will against him.

I just don't see him getting 1st team or all-defensive team.

I think Blair should of been on All-Newcomer team. Teague is only forward on that team. I would take Blair over Teague anyday. Maybe I'm just a little biased. :D

If we sweep Evansville, Coach Marshall probably gets COY. If we add to that a road win at N. Iowa, then it happens for sure. Most likely, when it all comes out in the wash, Ben Jacobson gets COY and Eldridge and Eglseder make the 1st team. Mr. Hannah better make the 1st team as well because he definitly earned it!!!!!!!

Yeah, Koch is a noticeable absence.

Don't forget, Jacobson lost to Evansville as well. He basically did what he was suppose to. So, UNI/WSU split, both lost to UE, but the Shocks vaulted from middle/lower middle to second.

I think Egg may have screwed the pooch with his DUI. He's not a good as Odiakosa, so he gets 2nd team, Koch gets 1st. OE may very well get 1st team and drop Weems to 2nd, but I think his lack of meeting expectations is deserving of 2nd team. Besides, I wouldn't put 2 third place team members on the All-Valley team when the their team under-performed for the year.

looks like Illinois State should have won the conference.
