I just love when these "superior" fans come by our message boards and make themselves into bigass hypocrites. It's just odd.

I have a new one. OK I have been a season ticket holder for basketball and baseball now for over 30 years and volleyball the last 6. I went out to watch the Shox and the Fighting Souix on one of the nicer days we have had in a looooong time. I needed to go get the grandkids after the 3rd inning and was planning on bringing them back to watch the game. SOMEONE has decided that there will be no REENTRY to the ballpark starting this year. WTH! As I was leaving I asked about getting my hand stamped and the gate attendant just pointed to the sign. NO REENTRY. If my seats in St. Louis puts me in the same proximity of ADES like they were last year I WILL bring this up. This is BS Thank you in advance for tolerating my rant.

Wow, that's a bit hard to believe. With a ticket in hand, what's the problem?

They seem to add one new rule every year at the baseball games. Everything was fine 5 or 6 years ago...then they came up with the rule of no parking in the lot until they officially open the lot...then no eating or drinking in the parking lot...then they took back the eating part but stuck with the no drinking part...then they said you can't harass the players of opposing team and if you say something like "you suck" you will be thrown out (yes I’ve seen it happen with “you suck”)...now they say no reentry...come people stop trying to fix something that isn't broke!

My best run in with outfield security was about 3 years ago, my daughter was 2, we both entered the game, and they were handing out Gene bobble heads. The kid handed me one and my daughter one. We walked all the way out to the left field pavilion and were chased down by a security officer on his radio who said my daughter need to give back her bobble head because she wasn't a paying fan. I promptly pulled out 4 unused tickets from my pocket and asked if that's payment enough. He said he was ordered to take it back....morons....

If by some of you mean the original poster who everyone obviously disagreed with, then your right. Don't come our board acting high and mighty with your butt buddy BCScat. Remember where you are and who you are. You're not a WSU fan, this is a WSU board, so know your place.

Ok, I don't give a rats' butt about what people have on their cars ... unless you are a student.

I really hate it when I see guys walking to class sporting a KU cap. Give it up man. If you wanted to go to that school, go.

That just seems a little silly to me. What's the point--piss off your fanbase?

Are they afraid that someone might exit the game and another individual will enter in his place?

My guess is that this is due to the automated ticket scanning system. It's not set up to accept a ticket twice. All common sense then goes out the window, as ticket takers aren't allowed to use their brain--only their scanner.

                  :(

                      That is kind of silly.

I mean, who cares if over the course of a game, two people end up sitting in the same seat. They only saw one game between them.

If it is just a matter of the ticket scanning system rejecting subsequent scans, the software should be customizable enough to change that.

Maybe it's because they don't want kids running in and out of the parking lot trying to get foul balls?

It has been listed as no re-entry forever. Almost all sporting events in the world are no re-entry.

BUT if you talk to the ticket taker, you normally can get away with it in the smaller environments.

The reason is they (again, all sporting events) don't want you going back to your car and getting lubed up every 15 minutes.

Yes, football games let you go at half time and come back ... well, some do and some don't.
