If CU fails to get into post-season play this year, I believe that puts them in post-season play 5 out of the past 7 years.

I'm 100% certain that this is incorrect.

I have been told that Creighton until this year has finished in the top 2 in the MVC for the last 10 years.

WSU still has a long way to go to reach Creighton.

Creighton was the 4th seed in 2006. Maye they finished in a big tie for 2nd.

And my point is not that the MVC and this year are the same or that this team is nearly as good as 2006.

My point is that the differences b/t 15 and 10 wins in the MVC regular season play can be very, very minor and sometimes simply involve good fortune.
