The big man ain't bad, but it's the TEAM that's good at UNI. They play as a team on almost every night. He's just a piece in the puzzle. I was pretty impressed with how well they handled OD in the Bracket Buster without him.

This is an individual award we are talking about. I dont care how good or bad his team is. He plays his role well and thats fine but overall. anyways really doesnt matter.

It drives me nuts when Craig says "versatile". He does it every game, and says ver-suh-TILE. It's VER-suh-tul Craig. VER-suh-tul. Say it after me. VER-suh-tul. Take your weak sauce ver-suh-TILE home.

I too am grateful for the broadcasts. However, these guys are brutal. Bruce, it is a REBOUND, not a PULL. For crying out loud Craig,we know we are watching a BASKETBALL game. Half the time on a foul call inside the lane, we don't even know who the foul is on. They say one thing and the PA announcer says it is on someone else.

At least last night, they got the players names right or if they didn't I missed it. They spend so much time talking about how good the other team is or how good the opposing players are they can't even give us play by play after timeouts or free throws.

I don't want a homer, but I am very tired of Brent er Bryce er Bruce Steven or whatever his name is.

Does Spangles have that much power that Craig Jr. has to be the color commentator?

I think this is part of it and they are not a polished act. They need to remember who their audience is and play to that. They are not being broadcast in the city that they are drooling all over their players and are getting more and more WSU fans to mute them and listen to Mike and whoever. Does Cox get billed by the other team for the cost of having to have their players squeegeed off after the games.

Both Bruce and Craig are terrible.

Let's start with Bruce because supposedly he's the professional. He needs to throw out his word of the day calendar and actually provide accurate information. Whether it's as simple as not getting the score right, not knowing what the call was (but acting like it was something else) or repeatedly not saying the right name (last year it was always Ryan Clemente) he is completely useless. Instead he is always trying to look smart, or witty, of which he is neither. "Hey Bruce, look up the word ironic … you got it wrong again last night." My biggest thing with Bruce is that he tries so hard not to be a homer that he actually seems to be against the team, maybe he needs to remember who his target audience is.

OK, so Craig. Craig, Craig, Craig have you ever watched or listened to another color commentator? It's called "color" for a reason, as in, jump in with a little splash of color now and again, not ramble on endlessly about the size of a guy's sideburns all the while missing two possessions each way. The guy has absolutely nothing to add and when he does I have trouble taking it seriously, when he was a player he tried hard, but he was a pretty bad player on some pretty bad teams so him telling us what it takes to be a winner falls a little flat.

I always check the delay with Kennedy and Hull before even turning on the volume and if it's bad I sometimes watch in complete silence. Last night I turned over to Kennedy for three second during a timeout and learned more about the game than I had listening to Bruce and Craig the entire first half.

My suggestion? KWCH save your money, leave Bruce and Craig at home and just pipe in Kennedy and Hull!
