Uh why? He didn't even draw iron. I agree it's not just his fault, but what about Marshall's? He's still living in last year with this play-calling. Murry is a horrible shooter and this isn't last year. Hannah or Hatch should have taken the shot.

    Just terrible.

Still though, the throwaway out-of-bounds was unforgivably bad.
Was there any other movement in the offense or was it , Toure dribble the ball up and shoot? If that is what it was then its not Toure's fault, its Marshall's. If there was other movements and screens being set then I can understand you being mad at Toure, but if the Play was "Toure go make a play" then its not his fault.
It was Toure just running up, standing, and then shooting. I said it was Marshall's fault.

    • I think if we can score 46 points per half the rest of the season, we will be fine.

I hope Kung Wu understands this. This was a bad way to lose and not acceptable.
YOU don't decide what's acceptable. 10,000 fans that show up to the next game do. If those 10,000 don't show up, then you were right. Check it before you wreck it.

Thanks for the kind words. I think Illinois State will get to Sunday. I'm just hoping we make it out of Friday.

Can't say that I blame him - he can only do so much cheer leading - at some point, the players have to accept the responsibility of coming out to play every game.

Let's fill it up and be EXTRA LOUD on Saturday - game is at NOON, get up early and excercise the vocal chords to be ready for Senior day.

Moure is all jacked up this season ever since the staff has been trying to adjust his jumper from last season. The dude lacks confidence and is trying to learn a new style of jump shooting. He's going to continue to struggle until he learns his new jumper.
I think this is somewhat true, but I think it's just consistency. At times, his jumpshot has looked PERFECT. Remember all the way back in the Pitt game? Compliment after compliment from the TV color guy and I think he was right, but he's not been able to maintain it all season. I think it's a confidence issue, and I don't know, but does he still practice it--individually outside of regular practice time? It would help.
If a player is having a confidence issue, then why is that player shooting for the win at the end of the game?

Because all of the passing lanes to Hannah and Hatch were shut down. It was obvious watching it. He was looking at Hannah when he first got it and had no chance of getting it to him.

Well, all I can guess are 2 things: 1. Toure' had played better tonight--knocking down a couple of 3's, had 15 points or something (whether he's officially out of his shooting 'slump' is debatable) 2. Toure's still a cool customer who showed time and time again last year that he's calm under pressure.

Now, with that said, I still think Graham's the guy you want or Clevin. Or better yet--drive to the basket!

Hello? He was bringing the ball up; CH, GH, JTD, and GS were the preferred "shooters." Toure' was most likely to take it to the hole to score or get fouled OR kick it to a shooter.

                            • One last observation - am I the only one that is 100% sure CH didn't foul. The ball came flying out of the BU player's hand before there was contact. I watched it super slow-motion since I thought that was the case when they showed the replay, but whatever...

I don't think it was simple as that. I don't think Toure should've touched it in the first place. I don't care if he draws defenses or not.. which I guess according to you, didn't work anyways.
