Were these really MVC refs? If so...holy crap. They could take a lesson from PAC-10 football refs. USU got every call in that game.

BTW, the "winning team, losing team" was possibly the gheyest thing I've ever heard.

I was going to add on my post that the Shox still would've lost even if the officiating had been "even." Maybe I could've circumvented your harsh words li'l buddy.

I can't rag on the effort as some are. We didn't hit our shots. It also appeared obvious that the Aggies are a very good team. Yeah, I think they would own the Valley. They were firing on all cylinders; I guess fewer 3's than normal - but definitely a great inside/out game.

The crowd was great too - haven't seen that kind of crowd all season.

The Aggies and their fans bring it. Right now, they have us in both categories.

Shox were beaten by the better team tonight. They looked better, they played better, and they are better.

Not sure what the rebound margin was, but I bet we were soundly beaten on the boards and for loose balls.

Fun game, guys. We should do this again real soon. Your kids competed physically and impressed . . . I've got to admit, though, the students' chant "Not so shocking" was pretty funny.

We're about half the team we were earlier in the season. It's a shame we're playing like poo now. Even a good Shocker team would have had difficulty there but I'm not sure what happened to that team and who the impostors are that are wearing their jerseys.

I wish Toure Murry would decide to be a big time basketball player becaue he truly has the skills to do so.

I think he read a little too many press clippings after his freshman year.

Toure' has been struggling recently, but you do realize that he has improved over his freshman year in almost every statistical category right? From your comments on this and other threads, you would have thought he was substantially worse as a sophomore.

Statistically he may be better, but I'm not talking about just statistics.

Well, then explain to me why he is worse. If he is shooting a higher percentage and making less turnovers, how is he a worse player? He is a better defender this year as well.

No question, Toure' has been erratic this year (although he was at least as erratic last year, especially on the road), but what are your grounds for saying that he hasn't gotten better than he was last year?

He's more erratic than last year.
He's made more critical mistakes at key times than last year.
I personally think he's a bit more selfish than last year.
I think his stats were padded against some very weak teams this year.
I think he tries to do too much. As a freshman, it was expected and he connected more. This year, I'm not seeing it.

He was pegged as an All-Valley player for sure this year. Do you see that happening?

Maybe some of it's on the coach, but I personally believe he's, at best, even-keeled.

So I know it's going to sound like I'm piling on Marshall, BUT, I have noticed that he usually does what's referred to as the blow-by handshake after a loss. I don't think it was anything the USU's coach did.

Marshall does that 9 times out of 10. I personally think it's looks kinda tacky and he comes off as a bit of sore loser. I think that's just his thing though.

kind of interesting, they had 22 assists on 26 makes, I know it is home cooking wiht the stats, but even that seems really good. Shox only had 7 turnovers, that's a positive!

Marshall just telling Dahl and Kennedy, "Let's get out of here", Their obviously on the same plane......Marshall wants to get back and finish this thing up strong! Just my observation.
