Well Marty, I guess I'm confused. It sounds like the Shockers got sections 123 and 124, both sections behind the basket. How do you figure we have good seats? Do we have other sections I'm not aware of? I understand the points thing, but I've been Bold Gold for at least 10 years... surprised all that gets me is section 123, directly behind the basket.

I had to switch my tickets, as I got a pleasant surprise some family would join us just a few days ago.

To get 5 together I now must sit higher than I have in decades, but it will be great to see my family.

We have 8 seats in section 102 about 15 rows up...Basically the exact same seats I've had the last 4 years. I'm kind of surprised so many people are getting bad seats, I figured since WSU cut off the ordering at 1000, that would mean better seats for more people.

Nope, as I said in my earlier post, the center seats are not given to any of the Valley teams. They are reserved for corporate sponsors. As for the other 4 good sections on the sides around the arena (102, 117, 115 & 104), the lower parts behind the benches are reserved for family and athletic departments I think. So that probably leaves around 500 “prime seats” to be divided 10 ways. So WSU get about 50 excellent seats and 1000 people who want them.

I know it is not likely, but in the event we end up tied with ILST, has anyone looked at the tie breakers?

Not that it will matter a great deal, we will likely have to beat them on Saturday in order to get to the championship game.

Our seats are in Section 125 which is right on the corner. I may have four tickets for Thursday, if anyone is interested.

so WSU is out of tickets correct...I checked the scott trade center and the best I could get was plaza seciton 125 row HH which is in the corner....uggh but Ill probably take it...

Whats the feeling on buying tickets the day of thru scalpers....alot available? I probably will need 2 for sat and hopefully sunday..I dont mind forking out 30 or more per seat...

Is it permissable to call one of the other universities and see what they have left? I got a call into Indiana St anc they are checking the seat locations for me....said they thought they were in section 100? which would be good

There are tons of scalpers at the games, you would have no problem buying tickets that way. In fact if you only plan to go to WSU's 1 or 2 games, you'd save a lot of money. Not sure where ISU's seats are, but there is no section 100.

No problem on Friday or Saturday, Sunday may cost you considerably more. On Friday night, there are always lots of fans of defeated schools wanting to sell their session passes. You can probably get tickets at the walkup window. I have never seen the arena full, probably because we have never made it through to Sunday.
