Who's all going to St. Louis

Anyone willing to take me? I am more than willing to go, but I don't have the money, and my dad has no confidence in the shocks. This also means that if someone is willing to take me along, is gonna have to pay for me to an extent. My family actually follow the St. Louis Cardinals in baseball, but I have never been to St. Louis. I'm tired of being stuck in Wichita with no way or no one willing to take me along.

Me and six others. (4 from Wichita, 2 from Topeka and 1 from Phoenix)

Taking Amtrak from KC to St. Louis.

We did this last year and it beats driving like a rented mule.

Card games and other frivolity will take place.

The drive to watch the Shox play is just as good as actually getting there in my opionion. What's better than reading the Sports Page 10 times in a row?

DOFO will be in attendance watching Creighton play Thursday night.

Since we probably have COLD back I think DOFO should be back in also.

I must say, though, I was a little disappointed in the Valley office for only alotting 1000 tickets to the Shocker ticket office because I called to try to add more to my 10 and they said they were sold out. Don't get me wrong, selling 1000 tickets is great but they had a demand for a lot more.

At least we should have 1000 of our best fans there though and I am sure more will be there they just may not be sitting in the same section with the majority of us.

Go Shocks, let's get it done this year!

Curious, they haven't done this in prior years, have they? I thought we had much higher numbers than that in recent years.

I don't think that they have ever done it this way before. I think that we very easily could have come close to selling this year what we did that record breaking year a few years back where we sold upwards of 2500 tickets.

I would think that they would want to sell as many tickets as possible and they should have anticipated that the demand would be so much greater than 1000 based on how this season has progressed.
