At 4500 feet, I do no think the altitude will have any impact.

Western Kansas is 4,000 feet and I am unaware the Leoti, Goodland, Tribune, Syracuse etc. have any big advantage over towns further east.

I predict that this guy gets camera time.

Utah State Aggies in Logan, UT. Highest home winning percentage in the nation since 2002!! Best 3-point shooting in all of college basketball and 3rd in free...

Shox trail by 6 at the half, go in the hole by 5 more in the first five minutes of the 2nd half, fight back and lose by 7.

I wish we didn't have to play USU at their place. Having to go to Bradley a few days afterward is going to kill these guys. We may be looking at the start of a two game losing streak. A split would be terrific given the travel situation and time between games.

This could be the most optimistic prediction you've ever made, Shaux.

Yeah, the team staying in Utah for 2 nights and then having to make it over to Bradley for a game Tuesday....not ideal.

That atmosphere for a late night game like this is going to be crazy. Especially with the student section USU has.

I am sure we all "want" the Shocks to win ..................... but the recent trend over the last couple of weeks says otherwise.

                        who to pick?

                        Chris Cooley or Bill Parcells?

WSU comes in with a RPI of 53. That is the best RPI to visit Utah State since St. Marys(47) showed up in December and came out a winner. I think the break from the valley will refresh. Shox 75-71.

Doug Gottlieb just said on espn (on College Basketball Final) that Wichita State and Siena were the big winners tonight in the bb.

He said that the UNI domination of ODU (a co-leader in the CAA) helps WSU. It makes the Valley look better and makes our win over UNI look better.

He basically said the same thing about IONA dominating William & Mary as a help to Siena.

He also said that UNI is IN the dance. :wsu_posters:

Doug Gottlieb just gave WSU some more hope (love) on College Basketball Final.

He just played the game of IN or OUT with 8 bubble teams. He said three teams were IN right now but could play themselves out (Illinois, Louisville and Okie St).

He said five teams were OUT for now but could play themselves in. One of those 5 was WSU.

He said again that WSU was helped a lot tonight by UNI dominating ODU. He said that if WSU could win at USU that could put us IN. He said that everyone knows how hard it is to win there. :wsu_posters:

One can only imagine what would be saying if we knew how to take care of a 1-15 Valley team.
                                Deuces Valley.
                                ... No really, deuces.
