We sure tried. We took a 20+ point lead down to only 1 and barely squeeked it out. We couldn't finish off Creighton in Omaha - again. Tanked one against Drake and gave up even trying to win with about 2 minutes left. Should I go on?

...Altman had Turgeon's number and Turgeon may as well have had "pwned by Dana Altman" tattooed across his backside.

Turgeon may as well take the Oregon job. If he thought it was tough to beat Altman, well, he's only seen Self a few times and Self is coaching the team that Turgeon truly loves. Turgeon will NEVER win against KU.

Hey, ya Big Ape, I’m not saying we need to be undefeated to have a successful season. And, honestly, I couldn’t care less about KU or their athletic programs. BUT – I think it’s unfair to unload on Turgeon when we can’t seem to finish off a lot of teams that we should have been able to beat pretty handily.

Our team has talent and athleticism, but I wouldn’t say we are loaded up with a lot of natural basketball smarts. As far as “ragging” on the coaches – they are the ones who are utimately in charge and need to make adjustments if things aren’t working. Do I think that overall they are doing a good job? YES! Do I think that they could improve the way things are done, especially in close games? YES. Does that mean I want to run them out of town and bring in an entirely new staff? NO!

I could come on here and tell you all how I love the current staff and how everything that they do is perfect. I could also say that Mark Turgeon is awful because he left us (and, no, I don’t think he is), but if we all did that, it would make for a pretty boring DISCUSSION, don’t you think? :bball_spin:
