  • Greg Marshall quote regarding Roy Williams

"Unlike Coach Williams at North Carolina, I'm not going to compare that loss to the disaster in Haiti."

Awesome. Marshall is the ****ing man.

Amazingly dumb, insensitive, and arrogant thing for RW to compare losing a basketball game to what happened in Haiti. The guy is losing it.

Hoping and believing the Shox make the NCAA, but under a worst case scenario and the NIT, wouldn't mind seeing the Shox beat his Deputy Dawg a$$ in Koch Arena (with his team missing all FTs) and his tail hanging between his legs all the way back to NC.

    Welcome back to Kansas Roy.

Checking the standings, they're 14-11 and 3-7 in the ACC with six games to go, meaning that if they somehow put together a win streak, they could possibly finish the regular season with 20 wins and a 9-7 ACC record.

However, that stretch includes 4 road games, including Duke and Wake.

I used to hate Duke and liked UNC but since Roy Boy went there I pull for Duke every time they play.

I'm sure even if they lose out they will somehow make the NCAA tournament.

9-7 in the ACC is worth a freakin' 4 seed.

Not make the tournament. That's a good one.

Easy Shocker fans... Roy is a good guy that got caught up in the moment and said something stupid. I get enough crap from KU fans... don't you guys go mental on me as well. :-)

“In no way am I equating the tragedy in Haiti with basketball,’’ the Hall-of-Fame coach said in a prepared statement released by the school this afternoon. “I’m sorry that my statement at the press conference made it seem like I was comparing the two. The people of Haiti are suffering through unimaginably difficult times. I know very well that we are just playing a game.”

UNC is awful this year. They aren't making the tourney. Not sure why Roy thought Drew II was the answer at point (wouldn't offer Wall) so he's reaping what he sowed. Their seniors aren't very good and their bigs are banged up. They'll be back...
