Yeah the players wanted to lose. They enjoy hearing grief on their facebooks, and they don't want to make the NCAA tournament. They are kids just trying to do their best, they aren't perfect, and neither are we. I choose to support this program year in and year out no matter the outcome because I am from Wichita and a Shocker. Unless a player is placing bets and blowing games on purpose (which no one is). I will stand and yell as loud as I always do, because I'm proud to be a Shocker and wear yellow no matter the outcome.

Your point may be valid, but I don't think it goes for the entire team. I saw too much heart and care out of at least a few individuals last night to prove otherwise.

While it's hard watching a team that seems to care so little, I don't think "sitting down" is the answer.

I plan to go, I plan to stand and clap. I think there will be quite a few empty seats, and honestly, if we see another game like we have been seeing, I'll bet you see people walk out.

All student tickets are taken for MSU. I expect a great crowd and good atmosphere to help the team come back off the cliff. Hopefully, Coach and team will respond. I feel a blow out win coming. I felt that at Evansville, but that was obviously, just gas.

BTW, Pinstipers, we have fans walk out during nail biters, so if the game is gone at 8:45 pm on a Sunday night that is Valentine's Day, which is a ridiculous time to schedule a college basketball game, I won't consider it a negative.

I've always been of the mindset that you stand by your team... no matter how bad it gets. That's not to say you don't get frustrated, angry disappointed, but to me the difference between bandwagon fans and those who truly have black and yellow in their veins is loyalty even in the face of adversity.

Nothing bothers me more than people jumping ship. The meltdown of 2006-2007 was far worse than this one. If you stayed a fan after that, or God forbid you followed the Shox during the terrible Cohen years, then I think Tuesday's loss was pretty easy to stomach comparatively.

We've only lost one in a row. We're 20-6, and if we play decently over the next 2-3 weeks we'll finish considerably better than anyone believed we would. Lots to still be happy about.

I think one thing that might send me over the 'edge' is if CU catches us in the standings. That would be extremely difficult to handle. Even if that happened (and I hope it doesn't) I'll keep coming to the games, STANDING for the team, cheering when they do well, bang my head against a wall when they don't, etc, etc, etc. I just don't believe in giving up on the Shox. Not this year, not EVER.
