After the ISU (blue) game, I thought the Shockers would come out on fire against UE. Obviously to say I was wrong is the biggest understatement in the world. I have no idea at this point about the Shockers. I sure hope they find themselves, but at this point I don't have a clue what will happen.

Weird. I don't necessarily think that's saying he's "starting". I think he's just simply saying "his time [to maybe turn things around] starts Sunday.."

I also hope he doesn't imply that he's gonna try to be a "hero".

The Shocks "stared a gifthorse in the mouth while yawning" at Evansville. That mishap could cause some teams to get funky and roll over and die. However, at 21st and Hillside, the Shocks will draw fans like a free "grand-slammer DenDins Valentine feast" and the Shocks will sweep-ride the lions and tigers and bears (oh my) to victory 'while yearning' to get off the snide and begin a new a 'peaking improving winning streak' and play 1 game at a time as if there is no tomorrow. Well I don't think HCGM will give up and I think he will do his absolute best to have the guys ready to go and in a good frame of mind to take on the Bears.

I expect Graham and Clevin to bring their A efforts, if not their A games.
I have less confidence in the rest of the guys who tend to be a little too cool for school at times, but if they decide to really get after it we should be OK.

I'm sure a good part of the fan base is still steaming from the Evansville debacle. But what else can we do, other than what we always do. Show up and get behind the guys. Hopefully, we are rewarded for our loyalty.

Illinois State beat Creighton at the Bluejays house and now are lurking behind the Shocks at 9-6. A win tonight would make our record 10-5. Then Wed. night while we play Evansville at home, Mo. State will visit Ill. State. Thus the Shocks need to get back on track and sweep because Mo. State will be motivated and will obviously want their sweet revenge.
