Can we stop fouling?

I thought that the game last night was called pretty well. Evansville destroyed us from the free throw line and we wouldn't quit fouling? I haven't seen any comments about poor officiating last night.

Why do we seem to foul more often then our opponents? Is this weak basketball IQ?

What happened to our shooting, both free throws and regular?

Officiating wasn't poor last night. They let both teams be physical but Evansville was just more aggressive with the holding and trapping. I think we would be better off occassionally changing to a zone and switching on ball screens late in the play clock. It seems like we give up a ton of baskets and fouls on the simple pick and roll/drive.

We play a very aggressive style of defense. That will bring fouls. SIU did this if you remember. How many fouls did they commit?
