truly an eye opener, hopefully the team knows that they can't cadillac their way thru the remainder of the schedule and into st louis. if the coaching staff doesn't have their attention NOW, they probably will NEVER get it.
It appears to me that the Shockers needed to lose the Indiana State game. I think it would have been less damaging - even being at home - than losing to Evansville. I would rather give up our sterling home record than lose to Evansville. :(

But we have a very good chance to finish 12-6 (2nd) in the Valley and that is a VERY impressive record and a solid improvement over last year. If we win at Bradley we go 13-5. I don't think we win at Bradley but who knows, we certainly could.
As an established MTXE scoffer, I have to tip my hat to you. The bipolar aspect of some of our posters is indeed "juvenile, silly, embarrassing." This thread and your comments are right on target -- your best ever, I believe. Kudos.

Watcher, you're about as fake as our team.

          Wow

Hell having frozen over, I now rise to MTXE's defense.

Bipolar/Fever, he didn't create a thread about you, but about crazed posters melting down, of whom you're just one of many -- although certainly one of the most egregious specimens. (And he was exactly right, hence my kudos to him.) Maybe if you weren't so full of yourself you'd recognize the difference.

Meanwhile, if you think either I or the team are somehow "fake," check with one of your other personalities; you may get a more favorable reading. Then, for the benefit of all concerned, please take your medicine.

Time for me to start Ignoring this thread.

Man, I should have used the Wu's calculator on that post. That could have been a 300%er, hypocrite.

Again, call me bipolar all you want. You can look to your favorite basketball team for the reason why.

A simple "I agree" or "nice post" will do. :) Whenever I hear "This is your best post ever!" or "I agree with EVERYTHING you say for once!" I am tempted to get all prickly. Ha ha :)

I haven't had a chance to read through the game thread yet, but from what I've seen of the rest of MTXE's posts after the game, I agree with pretty much everything he's said. I wasn't expecting MTXE to be a voice of reason during a meltdown, but it turned out that way.

Thanks, MTXE, for some well-thought-out and well-expressed posts.

I've mostly appreciated MTXE's passion but have been critical at times of what I perceive to be his/her often over reactive, over the top comments. I have to admit I find it odd to be complimenting you for your reasonable, rational comments and assessment in light of such a disappointing ... really disheartening loss. Dare I say ... you may have saved a life ... causing the more distraught to step back from the ledge. Nice work counselor. You identified and exposed the distorted thinking. While that was a pathetic, miserable, lousy, stinking, awful, frightful, appalling, dreadful, horrendous, (I'm now into my thesaurus) disastrous, disturbing, shameful, repulsive, shocking performance, it was only one game and shouldn't diminish accomplishments obtained so far.

Hey ShockCounselor, are you seeing any new patients? I'm still not over this one.

That's probably the first time I've agreed with MTXE, but he pretty much hit the nail on the head.
