Yes, the posting styles are different, but I think that's being done intentionally to help cover up himself. Unfortunately, it's my opinion and a lot of others that he has given himself away too much and is now backpedaling. I just wish the guy would just admit it already and we can all move on. No sense in getting caught up with a stupid ego thing.

A win is not a win against Indy st at home after being down by 17 points! Im sick of the lack of effort by our team sometimes. Not only was it a sorry Indy st team but they were missing two players and one of them was there best player. No excuse for stuff like that. Losing to Drake then getting beat by a sorry *** sCUm team, rediculous!!! Our schedule was far from impressive this year so winning 20 games is not a big deal! Thats why they get a D this year for coaching! Im sorry for my rant but I think we have a good team but it seems like they dont try sometimes. Players getting up for games is coaches responsibility!

If seasons like this one make you angry, you need to take a step back and rethink your perspective.

If you want to look at a team that is actually squandering talent, look at Illinois State. They have more seniors, including the preseason POY, were picked higher, also played at weak schedule, and are two games back of us in the standings with a harder remaining schedule.

We, on the other hand, have only one senior, have a twenty win season, are sitting 3 spots higher than our predicted finish (and higher even than the 3rd place finish many Shocker fans were predicting), and are still in the running for an at-large bid. Could we be even better if we had taken care of business in a few key games? Yes. The same could be said of most teams in the nation, however, including those having very good years. At the end of the day, we have exceeded expectations, and it is foolish to blast a team for not exceeding expectations by as much as they might have.

The only thing there is no excuse for here is being a completely ungrateful fan when the vast majority of fan bases would love to have their team play the way ours has this year. Save these rants for once we have seasons where we are failing to meet expectations and are really under performing.

Very few true fans are able to disconnect from this chain of events. If you are able to, I would question your commitment to the team. Fans with duel loyalties: KU/WSU or KSU/WSU or better yet KU/KSU/WSU are usually much more 'level-headed' due to their convenient alternative to facing the pain when 'one of the schools they cheer for' stumbles. You even see this coping mechanism displayed by Shocker-only fans as they cry, 'When does baseball season start?'.

Many of the people on this forum that have scolded others for showing dissatisfaction, have expressed similar if not worse reactions to recent performances. They just didn't have the honesty or confidence to express them here. I would recommend a movie for everyone to watch, it is called "The Invention of Lying". It is very funny film that brilliantly deals with this artificial layer of composure we continually put forth to shield others from what we are truly thinking.

Basketball is a game of variables. Sometimes a team is hot. Sometimes a team is cold. Sometimes one team is hot and the other is cold.

One wouldn't think Clevin would miss both free throws in a two shot foul. It happened. It's not lack of preparation, lack of will or lack of effort. It just happened.

Obviously we gave up some easy baskets, but that doesn't explain ISU shooting 75% with pretty decent pressure and a hand in the face most of the time. Any team that can limit turnovers, rebound and shoot 75% has a chance against anyone.

Clevin mising two throws isnt a big deal. Infact, Im glad he finaly missed. Now the pressure is gone. Anyway, we were down before that happend. Questioning my love for wsu bball is dumb!!! I bleed black n yellow. Everything I own is black and yellow.
