18-5 this year (up from 17-17 last year, and 11-20 the year before), and you think we're stuck at the status quo?
Status quo? No. But marginally better. We had a tougher SOS last season compared to this year. In addition, the Valley was much better last season compared to this year's. Quite honestly, it's almost a wash.
Yes our out of conference games were tougher last season, i'll agree with that. But marginally better??? Please tell me your joking. for the most part now we compete away from home. We are in every game, we do not fold like last years team might have. Much better than marginal. For us to be even talking about possible Ncaa birth is way more than marginal.

      +1

I would also say that the NIT is more than marginally better than the CBI...

What I think has made Hannah so much better this year is his patience. This year when he dribbles into the lane and gets stopped, he turns around, then spins back and then goes another direction and finds the shot or open man for the dish.

If I had one piece of advice for DW, it would be "slow down". He blew by people in high school on sheer speed alone. That doesn't cut it in D-1. He needs to develop the Hannah patience and be strong rather than fast. With strength, he will be use his quickness to his advantage rather than using his speed to run into the trees out of control.
"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

            How do we replace Hannah?
Don't get me wrong, the PG is the most important position on the floor. BUT they don't have to be the best player. I think coach will find a "good enough" PG to run the system. With that said, you replace Hannah with 4 seniors (Hatch, Durley, Ellis & Blair) and 3 Juniors (Kyles, Murry & Stutz)...all of them have plenty of time to improve enough to where we won't need a PG who has to do soooo much all of the time. They will take the pressure off the PG IMHO.
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

Come on. We've improved a lot since last year and it has nothing to do with the Valley either.
              Deuces Valley.
              ... No really, deuces.
