Not very classy of the Utah State fans making fun of the Idaho guy that got leveled into a brick wall (pick).

Idaho isnt a great team and a matter of fact they beat USU on the 23rd of Jan. 60 to 48.... We will have to play good though to beat them at home.
If you have ESPNU and are interested, the Aggies face Nevada on Saturday night. That should be a little more representative of the WAC and the Aggies. Tonight was strange all around ... crappy crowd and sloppy 2nd half.

A few things:
A little context on the Idaho game.
*The Vandals have been a disappointment in the WAC so far. They were picked by most to be top 4 in the conference.
*Idaho's coach was USU's assistant coach under Stew Morrill for many years. Idaho's x's and o's are almost a carbon copy of USU's. It makes our games vs. Idaho very sloppy because it's like playing a scrimmage with our own team. We both know each other's sets to a T.
*USU shot the ball a little better than average for the most part. Except Newbold shot very poorly tonight. BUT we didn't do alot of the little things well. We didn't rebound like we normally do. We didn't play near our usual defense. And we had a hard time taking care of the ball. There is no way that Idaho without Mac Hopson should have scored 62 points against us.
*Those deficiencies will be addressed and corrected before we play Nevada on Saturday. They always are.
*The crowd SUCKED tonight. I don't have any idea what happened but we had a better crowd turnout for the previous game vs. San Jose State which was only on local TV. I don't know what happened but frankly I'm disappointed and a little embarrassed by the poor crowd tonight.
*I was watching game tracker during the second half of your UNI game. You guys will definately meet UNI again and on a neutral floor I think WSU wins.

Actually Utah State beat Idaho on 23rd of Jan. Score was 60-48. Aggies led by about 20 for most of the game. Alot like tonights game. USU's losses this season were @Utah, @Northeastern, St. Marys, @ Long Beach State, @ New Mexico State, @ Louisiana Tech.

So I'll just ask the crew: should Fever take a new name? I say yes, and my vote is for ShockerBipolar.

Am I mistaken, or did Utah State's players look a little smaller than our guys? One thing you can say about our team is that they hit the weight room and it shows. Our strength has improved dramatically over last season. That's not to say it doesn't still need to improve, but I think AE's out-toughing of Koch last night is a direct result of those gains.
The Utah State team looked like great shooters and pretty quick, but I wonder (others definitely would know more) if they have any bigs that can bang it inside down in the paint? For example, someone who can handle a JT or Gabe inside.

Our starters in the frontcourt got in early foul trouble and our backups aren't as physical in the post. They are more finess players.
We are a bit undersized down there but believe me Tai Wesley will bang with anybody. Bendall really struggled tonight guarding Jefferson. Jefferson is a beast though. Next to Omar Samhan he's probably the only other center this year that's done much against us.
We played pretty soft last night. Like I noted earlier it wasn't our normal defensive effort. It will be fixed by Saturday vs. Nevada.

I think we should take a poll question and see how many people think we will legitimately win at Utah State.Deuces Valley.
