The "T" on coach only cost us 1 point - not the game - so get over that.
If we hit our free throws - just a decent pct., we do win.
Last shot by Murray, while not the best, he was hit on his arm - that's why it was short - but we can't count on the call.
Bottom line was our lack of rebounding and hitting our free throws - but then again people, I don't believe we were favored to win this. If we meet again (hopefully in the valley championship game) - I believe it will be our turn. :wsu_posters:

Anytime you hit an arm on a 3 pt. shot, it will affect the shot. It didn't even hit the rim.

We played probably our best road game of the season. We competed on every defensive possession. Probably foul shooting was the difference. Not our best offensive game but we play like this on our other road losses, we wouldn't have lost any of them.

Tell me when we are going to get another chance to beat a top 20 rpi team on the road????? It's over unless we run the table and make it to the championship game in STL or win the whole thing. There is little room for error when you have a 300+ OOC schedule. of course, you know this all..

Definitely need to beat USU; maybe can afford one more loss in regular season but doubt it and then have to make it to finals against UNI

I am really concerned about our FT shooting the rest of the year. Hopefully we bounce back Saturday.

Poor free throw shooting but mostly good effort. I'm actually pretty proud of our guys for never giving up.

UNI is a solid team. They've earned their record through hard work and smart play. We went toe to toe with them for 99% of this game and held right with them. This is their year--all those seniors, but I have a pretty good feeling that we're going to get more from UNI than they get from us for the next few years.

After the sting of this loss wears off, I think our guys should be able to feel ok about handling a hostile crowd pretty well. Not perfect-not great but pretty good.

Big bummer, but this season is far from over--lots and lots of good basketball to play, and I strangely feel better about our chances for future success--not worse. Obviously the Valley Title is out of reach, but we have plenty left to play for.

I know, I'm an optimist, but we never folded. We were in it until the last second and had a chance to tie at the end. That's about as close as it gets.
