I think it's a given you'll get the defensive presence out of EO ... If he's not an offensive liability from the standpoint of bobbling passes and rebounds, or "freezing up" when he catches an entry pass, you'll be really happy with him.

That's another big issue I've seen with a few of the inexperienced import post players: They will lock up and get that deer-in-headlights look when they catch the ball, thus letting the defense adjust and causing the offense to kind of stall out...

As far as we know. There have been some HS SRs pop up lately but I'm not sure what the staff thinks. Are those more recent developments or are we online just finding out about them? Some wouldn't like a FR but at least that would still give us 3 players battling for PT and I always prefer having a guy 4 or 5 years as opposed to 2. But the staff will do what they feel is necessary and sometimes a JC player is necessary.
The reason why I ask is that there seemed to be alot of questions to Paul on shockwaves about the Seward kid, Carter and then a couple of questions about Kenny and his current attitude and work ethic ...would he transfer ect... paul said he had a good atttude and that he worked "reasonably" hard at practice..... alot of basketball left this year for us...but it kind of seems it is coming down to a juco point. Unless we continue to make enough noise to get a freshman in here that could start next year...thats kind of a stretch though isnt it? Is it possible we get a freshman in that is good enough to start next year?
1/16/2010 on the "Screw at the Q" HCGM... " Ive never seen a foul parade like that...If you would of let me know it was going to be a foul parade I would of brought a different team" .... "dont talk to me about fouls....Ive got to go back and look at some tape... I have some thoughts but I need to look at the tape and then I will have something very strong to say"

I haven't got a closeup of EO's 'eyes' but from my perspective, he doesn't seem to look intimidated on the court. He looks aggressive to me.

I think he meant that he seems to hesitate. That doesn't necessarily mean he's intimidated, just that he has to "think" too much on offense which causes the defense to adjust before he makes a move. That is exactly what Garrett did alot last year.

He's aggressive on defense, but not as much offensively.

I'm still not giving up on DWill to be the man next year. I know the consistency hasn't been there this year but he could very well step up for next year and I still have faith in KJ. A FR wouldn't have to be able to start but would still need to compete for PT to give us the best option. I'm guessing they'd prefer the maturity of a JC PG but wouldn't rule out a very good FR who could compete.

When I saw EO in October, he generally seemed to have a sense of purpose when he caught the ball.

I never thought I would live to see EO miss a dunk.

The announcer is drunk. He is calling layups dunks and giving credit to EO on teammate's dunks.

                    • It is pretty obvious Kerron Johnson scores at will when EO isn't in there, but when EO comes in he stops scoring.

And they said that Kerron is getting offers from all the schools.

I wonder if Henry has signed with anybody? Perhaps that is why he gets so much love?

Henry has not signed. EO is the only Raider who has signed.

Henry benefits from playing on the starting line.
