  • We have lost another Shocker Fan

Tom Brasser (NYshocker) passed away this week.
Tom didn’t post a lot but checked Shocknet daily to read your opinions and the latest news.
Tom was a true Shocker fan and season ticket holder, he was laid to rest Friday morning wearing his favorite Shocker gear.
My prayers go out to his wonderful family

That is sad news. so sorry to hear that. Though I didnt know him my thoughts and prayers will be with his family. Very cool that he was laid to rest in the fine threads of the team he obviously loved.
1/16/2010 on the "Screw at the Q" HCGM... " Ive never seen a foul parade like that...If you would of let me know it was going to be a foul parade I would of brought a different team" .... "dont talk to me about fouls....Ive got to go back and look at some tape... I have some thoughts but I need to look at the tape and then I will have something very strong to say"

The Shocker Nation isn't the same without him. Truly dedicated fans like that are appreciated and hard to replace.

              RIP

I knew Mr. Brasser well, and liked him a lot. He loved the Shockers and was a big supporter of the basketball and baseball teams. A great man who will be missed.

He seemed to be a very nice person, as I met and talked to him at the NJCAA tournament a couple years ago. God bless you Tom
