Quit carping, Fever -- I'll come to 21's defense here, because this game was important enough that it deserves a thread of its own. The UNIs don't have too many realistic chances left to lose, and this was one of them.

If UNI wins the Valley and WSU finishes second, this game and the one pointer that went wrong for the Shocks at Creighton are quite likely to be the difference, or at least most of it. Of course, I could have thought (and probably did think) something like that about UNI eleven games in last year, and their great El Foldo ensued shortly thereafter -- so it's still too soon to give up hope. But this was a definitely chance to gain that got away.

This is the first time I've had a chance to visit SN since yesterday and I see SF is doing his usual. I do enjoy SN and what posters have to say. However, I have noticed a trend lately where you (SF) seem to take over a thread and usually have something negative to say about at least one poster each thread. I don't know what you are referring to with your comment about I sometimes like to be the politically correct police, but then some of your posts don't have a point.

I do apologize to the SNetters that took offense that I posted a score that had some significance to our chances for the Valley title or post season. Granted, it was after the game was over and the first opportunity I had to get to a keyboard, but I did check to see if there was a thread that mentioned the game in its title, and when there wasn't, I posted the score.

I, however, don't see what the harm was. I must be missing something (or it was a slow day and SF hadn't reached his quota of post).

You do think highly of yourself, I will give you that. You act as if this was the biggest transgression of the month ( I would say of the year, but it's only one month old). I don't know what you think I have to "save face" over. I'm not in the least embarrassed over anything I have said or done.
