    Turgeon's first three years:

    9-19
    15-15
    18-12

    HCGM:

    11-20
    17-17
    17-4

They look similar until you get to the third year. Fredster, did you threaten to jump ship in Turg's third year too?

No one can literally give 100% or be 100% effective all the time - the key of course is to make the dropoff, when it happens, to be as minimal as possible. Obviously the dropoff in the Drake game was too much to overcome. Its kind of related to a question I want to call in sometime and ask coach - what are the keys to winning when things AREN'T going well. My hunch is defend, rebound, and minimize turnovers, like it takes a rocket surgeon to figure that out. Of course actually having the players execute is another matter entirely.

Hey, if you pull your support from the athletic department, address the check to the College of Education. Or the College of Fine Arts. Or even just the genera endowment The people doing the teaching and the students that are the reason for the whole dang thing could use the cash...
Deep in the heart of couldn't give a crap about college basketball-land and I miss the SHOX.

I think that some people often forget that the opposing team is doing all they can to win the game also. They scout, they prepare, and they play just like our Shockers.

Drake is on a roll right now, and have obviously figured out how to win some ballgames. As of the past 2-3 weeks, they are just as tought to beat as MSU, Bradley, Illinois St. Their rpi still might be high, but they are much improved.

Give them some credit for the win, instead of placing all the blame on the Shocks.

We used to have spirited debate on this site. We used to have folks on this site like shockref and other seasoned veterans of Shocker Basketball who got it.

If this team makes you want to stop 'Investing', than the teams in the 90's surely made you give up entirely.

When did you resume your support?
