Really my thought. We didn't get off of the bus.

Stutz played like crap. Our defense was crap. Our chance will be if we can cut the lead early and be in it for a long time. But we are going to have to Make them go cold.

Very disappointing. We are average if we lose this game.

You would think that 40-50% of their good shooting has been due to wide open looks and easy baskets GIVEN to them by our lazy defense. They're making their 'bunnies' too.

C'mon Shox! Tighten up the defense! It's time to decide if you want to be a part of the conference race, or if you are content with mediocrity.

This will be an interesting second half. In order to win this game, the Shockers are going to have to be the aggressors in the second half.

There haven't been many times this season where that is the case.

Most often, Wichita State is trying to weather the storm during the second half. Hopefully we'll come out like UNI did against us and level the game right out of the gate.

I saw that commercial for 5-hour energy. Maybe that's what they needed to take before the game. They dont' seem to have any.

Not his game today (Garrett). Gabe's not having a particularly good game too, but I would look for that to change if we're going to rally here in the 2nd half. Gabe usually has no problems with energy, but I think the first half was one of his worst this season.

What do you mean, not his game? He needs to be ready to play every game or he should transfer to another school!

The Shocks didn't wake up for the game until there were 11 miniutes remaining in the half. After that the game was played pretty much even.

Like I said, we scored 12 of our 24 points in 2:40. The other 17:20, Drake beat us 32-12.

Drake is beating us with layups and wide open 3 pointers. A third grade team could do that.

Throw in the fact that our offense looks like a garbage pit and it's a miracle we're only down 12.

If we learn how to guard (take charges), and run an offense, this deficit is indeed attainable.

I'd feel a lot more confident had we not given it back to Drake in the last 3:30, 8-3.

Me thinks given the win against UNI and the comfortable margin of victory at home the team is making/made a crucial error. Looking to Illinois State and/or not taking Drake seriously.
