Some nice writeups about the Shox and CKA. I can't help but feel like this team is raising us up, like we could be the next Gonzaga in the next few years.

Good things are happening in Wichita!!!! :goshocks:

The Washington Post includes the Shocks in their mock bracket as the last at large team (13 seed). Our first round opponent would be Purdue in this scenario.

That match up works good for me.

I think we would end up higher than a 13 and Purdue lower than a 3, but I'd take that match up.

Yes but he has us the last in, so lose one and he probably has us out :goshocks: 8)

I understand the east coast bias (he is an east coast reporter) and BcS bias but c'mon. In my opinion this is screwy. 7 Big XII teams and 9 Big East teams in his bracket. Man

If this bracket were true and WSU won their first two games, they would meet KU in the Sweet 16. Assuming, of course, KU can get that far.

Not national love, but regional love out of KC...

State of basketball in Kansas is thriving

Projecting Shockers as a 10 seed in the tourney...

Wichita State is bound to appear on several top-25 ballots next week if the Shockers win today at Drake.

Three times in the 1980s the three teams went to the NCAA Tournament in the same year, and it could happen this year for the first time since 1988.

Now, if only Wichita State could get Kansas and Kansas State on its regular-season schedule.
